A haircut service for kids aged 5 to 12 years old is tailored to the specific needs and preferences of this age group. The stylist starts by cleaning and wetting the child’s hair, and then proceed to comb out any tangles. They will then use scissors and clippers to create the desired length and style. The stylist will take care to cut the hair in small sections, to ensure that the cut is precise and even, and trim around ears and nape of the neck to create a clean finished look.

The stylist will keep the child engaged during the cut, asking for their opinion on the cut and may use distraction techniques like games, videos or a mini play area. After the cut is complete, the stylist will style the hair and give advice on how to style it at home, and recommend hair care products if necessary.
